Kari is the daughter of Grendel’s Den founders Herbert & Sue Kuelzer. Kari has always been passionate about food and hospitality, and committed to seeing the family business successfully continue it’s presence in Harvard Square.

Attending college in New York and Montreal, and then spending a decade in California (San Francisco & LA), Kari came back to Cambridge with recipes and experiences from across the continent. She runs the daily restaurant operations and raises a son who may some day join the business!
